[Winry is not her usual cheerful self today on this video, in fact she’s far from it and looks like she’s about to cry... Well, she’s not going to cry, no worries. It’s still her saddest face, just without crying her eyes out. She’s not paying attention to the screen today. She just … can’t. So instead she’s writing stuff into a notebook somewhere in Goldenrod, while Audino and Altaria look sad and worried near her.]
You’d think that they would stay in a world, where no one even knows how to get out... [Sigh.] But I guess keeping them in one place is impossible. Geez, I should be used to this, right? [Wait, let her think what to say here.] ...Well, at least they both went home, that’s how it should be.
[And it was always kind of weird to see just one of them around even at their current situation at home.]
So if anyone’s curious about Edward Elric’s or Alphonse Elric’s whereabouts, you won’t find them here. Ed and Al went home.
[...That … Was almost too difficult to say, it’s even more difficult to let the thought sink in.]
I’m sure they’ll come back here sooner or later... They always do that -- [even at home, she might add.]
Maybe I’ll get the HM for FLY before they appear here again. I know breeders could just borrow them from everyone else, but I guess I want to be independent by gett--
[...Hello, everyone. Say hi to Winry’s new Pokémon, Zorua, who jumps onto her lap, looking as mischievous as ever. Huff. Who gave the fox permission to cut the girl's words by surprising her like that?]
Oh yeah, Envy? [Winry points at the Zorua.] It hatched. It’s been -- [...UMMMMMMMM...] playful.
[Zorua laughs like a good little devil that it is and Winry ends the video there.]
[And if you are in Goldenrod, you’ll find her walking around the city, trying to think of at least something to do to keep her busy. The video missed Emolga, who is happily just flying in the air. Zorua looks playful too... Not ones for sad mood, huh? Well, that’s okay too, but the girl here looks like she could really use some cheering up - or at least, some company.]

Date: 2012-10-18 03:08 am (UTC)you're right though, i bet they will be back in no time!
johto has a habit of doing that, after all.
and there's nothing like taking on a gym leader for friend-disappearance therapy. so if you want to give chuck a shot, i say go for it.
text;
Date: 2012-10-19 12:27 am (UTC)i hope so, though at least time flies here even if they don't come back in no time.
haha, well it also takes time to train pokemon for it ...unless the ones I have are enough to win at his gym.
you don't happen to know his team, do you?
text;
Date: 2012-10-19 09:59 pm (UTC)it depends on what you have, really. his normal team consists of hitmonchan. hitmonlee, and poliwrath.
they're all between level 50 and 55.
so if you have a really strong psychic type, the first two wonm't give you any problems.
it's mostly poliwrath's dual typing that can be a bit of a loop.
text;
Date: 2012-10-20 05:32 am (UTC)Well, looks like his team is full of pokemon with weakness for flying too. (I have two Altarias)
That Poliwrath makes me wish that my electric types were either obedient or strong enough. Or that Audino wasn't a normal type with "huge" weakness to fighting type. Not that I could do much without some electric TMs when there's that weakness from her side.
But thanks, now when I remember his team, I'm sure I'll come up with some kind of a stragedy sooner or later. :)
With Halloween coming up this month and the tournament coming up next month, it looks like we'll have eventful weeks coming up even without gym battles!
text;
Date: 2012-10-22 05:39 pm (UTC)hehe. double altaria, nice.
looks like it though, yeah. i'm kind of excited.
because halloween is the best holiday and i'm sure the tournament will be a lot of fun.
text;
Date: 2012-10-27 05:29 am (UTC)Yeah, wasn't my intention to get two of them, but I won't complain having double of my favorite bird.
I'm excited too, even if I'm not even participating into the tournament.
I just wish we had holidays like Halloween and all the others in Amestris too. They're fun.
text;
Date: 2012-10-28 05:12 pm (UTC)altarias are pretty awesome, it's true. and having multiples of your favorites is never a bad thing.
i have two gastly-lines, myself. though i did that on purpose.
they are lots of fun, yeah. halloween is my favorite.
what kind of holidays did you have back home then?
text;
Date: 2012-10-29 06:24 am (UTC)They are, I should probably get a third one too and make sure it's male. I was planning to do that anyway, then a friend of mine left me a female one. It's never a bad thing to do the lines on purpose either. Why Gastly-lines though? Just curious, I still don't know much about many ghost types.
I think Christmas is my favorite, and I mean the non-Japanese version where it's a family oriented holiday. But Halloween is fun too and I've never experienced the rest.
Umm, local festivals mostly. The distances are huge, and it's a military country where wars aren't uncommon, so holidays aren't exactly a thing there.
text;
Date: 2012-11-01 09:34 pm (UTC)haunter being my favorite pokemon.
but i also needed a girl for breeding purposes. dusknoir can pass some pretty sweet egg moves down to gastly, but my haunter is a boy so that obviously wasn't going to work.
i see. it's always interesting to hear about other people's homeworlds and how they differ. or how they're oddly similar, in some cases.
the other holidays are ok, i guess. halloween and christmas are really the best. though i have come to appreciate valentine's day more now that i actually have a valentine to spend it with.
easter is...easter. not much to say about that one. it's fun but once you're older it kind of loses the charm. unless you actually celebrate it for religious reasons like you're supposed to.
so are you glad to be here then? as opposed to home?
that many wars doesn't exactly sound...enjoyable.
