[At first, there's a girl sleeping restlessly. Seen lot of people having nightmares recently? Yeah, she's one of them too.

Winry suddenly wakes up screaming and jumps to sit, not realizing that her face is in tears. Count to two, and cover your ears if you don't want to hear a short yell as well.] Ed!!

[Nope, her nightmare had nothing to do with him this time, but she does have a habit of calling for him whenever she's in trouble anyways. Worried sound from her Audino, who is filming this. She was just about to ask what to do, when her trainer woke up and scared her.

Winry looks around, still in panic. Right. Kanto. Traveling with Shiraishi and everything is back to normal. Everything makes sense again. She pets the Eevee, who looks worried near her. Slowly calming down, she takes a deep breath and a moment before she speaks.]

I really hope they won’t get any worse than that, if they’re going to just keep coming... [Hard swallow, followed with a sigh.] Sorry, I don't usually -- wake up like that. [This really isn't going so well! She needs distraction, yup. Distractions are great.]

So, anyone up for sharing some baking and cooking recipes with me? Or awake and up just for a random chat? Or anything entirely random if you’re not feeling like talking, but you’re still awake and have nothing better to do, I guess?

Any kind! I can always try to learn something new from other worlds too. I'd say things from my world seem pretty basic, but maybe that's just me being from there.

Well, what would be a typical morning dish, for example? My particular favourite breakfast was a sort of porridge made with coconut milk and bananas.

I've never tried it with coconut milk, but that sounds delicious! Hmm, porridge is typical in my home town too. I often mix berries from our yard (or anywhere else nearby) into it, I just get them before I start making the food or we have them ready since there are always so many fruits and vegetables in our kitchen anyway. And another popular option is -- whatever you can find from the kitchen! Usually it's bread and anything you can put on it; like butter, cheese, cold cuts, and so on. Whatever you want to put on it. Eggs and fried potatoes are also common.

We didn't have much by way of berries... it was a tropical island, so our pickings were along the lines of pineapples and pomelos. Bananas were my favourite. Eggs weren't as common but we still had them... and a rather starchy sort of bread. I wasn't much of "true" breakfast person in that sense... I would prefer to eat what I could rather than make a meal of it. It was a skill that would serve me well in the future at least. Coconuts were ubiquitous, it was a simple thing to knock some down and pierce one to drink the water inside.

I don't think I've ever heard of pomelos, but they sound like something from our neighboring country, Xing. But that sounds a lot like what I've heard living in a tropical island can be like... [umh, and that just sounds weird coming from her.] I mean, two of my friends went to one for training purposes, so I heard stories from them later.

If one likes islands, I'm certain it would be quite pleasant.

Most fruit is quite juicy. I found myself with a rather strong liking for such fruit, though as time went on it was less and less common as my journeys found me in other places.
