[At first, there's a girl sleeping restlessly. Seen lot of people having nightmares recently? Yeah, she's one of them too.

Winry suddenly wakes up screaming and jumps to sit, not realizing that her face is in tears. Count to two, and cover your ears if you don't want to hear a short yell as well.] Ed!!

[Nope, her nightmare had nothing to do with him this time, but she does have a habit of calling for him whenever she's in trouble anyways. Worried sound from her Audino, who is filming this. She was just about to ask what to do, when her trainer woke up and scared her.

Winry looks around, still in panic. Right. Kanto. Traveling with Shiraishi and everything is back to normal. Everything makes sense again. She pets the Eevee, who looks worried near her. Slowly calming down, she takes a deep breath and a moment before she speaks.]

I really hope they won’t get any worse than that, if they’re going to just keep coming... [Hard swallow, followed with a sigh.] Sorry, I don't usually -- wake up like that. [This really isn't going so well! She needs distraction, yup. Distractions are great.]

So, anyone up for sharing some baking and cooking recipes with me? Or awake and up just for a random chat? Or anything entirely random if you’re not feeling like talking, but you’re still awake and have nothing better to do, I guess?

[The timing of the nightmares, along with their widespread effect, can't be coincidence. He wasn't sure what it was--if not a sign of genjutsu manipulation--but that it's related to some pokemon or another does seem obvious. Not simply because of the 'world' they're in, but also because his particularly unpleasant--and timed--dreams all involved pokemon in some fashion...and that was a rarity.]

What other random thing would you do? Quietly look at each other?

I'd do anything, that includes quietly looking at each other too, yes! [...] Though it probably won't work well with me, I'd just keep talking.

[Ren's been awake for a while, either because Hijirikawa woke them up during the night or his Pokémon were worried... or both.

I have a few spicy recipes in mind... nothing original, but something I've modified a little myself.

[He could have asked about the nightmares... but he'll leave it for Winry to decide if she wants to talk about them or not.]

[But what about your looks, if you don't sleep enough, mister Idol?! No, but she's actually happy to see all the people here.]

Spicy is good, if you feel like sharing them. I'll write them down [after this video conversation.] and try them ...later, once I'm in a city again.

Oh, are you traveling right now? I did think the background looked a little odd. Though sure, I can share any recipes... and talk about anything at all, if you need the company.

Yeah, it's been a long while since I last tried this. Oh, and I'm in Kanto, so that might be even more odd, if you tried to remember the musics from Johto. ...That would be great. Um, how you've been?

[Shiraishi had been sleeping, but woke up to the scream. His Leafeon looks worriedly over at the direction of the sound and nudges Shiraishi to get up.]

I know... I'm up.

[It takes him a while to adjust his eyes to the darkness and find his way over to Winry. His Leafeon, Asuka approaches Winry first, to see if she's alright. She's attached to Winry, which is rare for her, since she's normally really shy.]

Winry? Did you... have another nightmare?

[She's about ready to just put her hair into a ponytail and go for a walk, which she probably should have done before she made a post... Well, the Audino, who was filming by the time she woke up, didn't go unnoticed by her, so it was kind of all the same to make that post. Especially after that scream.

The Leafeon actually still surprises her. Twitch! ...Ohh. She smiles at her gratefully and pets the Eevee evolution gently.

...]

Yeah. [Sigh.] It's not -- exactly the firs time having nightmares about Elsie, but... [Shakes head.]

[Leafeon nuzzles Winry's hand.]

It's not like it matters if it's the first time or tenth. It's always unpleasant.

[She twitches a little at that. Late reaction, sure, but she just -- stares at her hands after that.]

True. No way to make them any easier, when they just -- happen. I just really hope these won't start repeating themselves, or anything.

[That would be ...welp, more bonding with Ed about nightmares that repeat themselves without being on the same level with his nightmares? Tch, he wouldn't want her to have any nightmares anyway.]

That would be bad for your health. [Child of doctors here!] But then again, I probably won't even dare to sleep if these keep happening.

I didn't used to have to sleep if I didn't want to. Still don't know how humans deal with having to all the time, it's stupid.

[Grumble grumble don't mind him, he's grouchy on account of the nightmares.]

But it's not that hard to stay awake a few days, even then.

What sort of cooking? I don't presume that our worlds had the same sort of culinary delicacies.

Any kind! I can always try to learn something new from other worlds too. I'd say things from my world seem pretty basic, but maybe that's just me being from there.

Well, what would be a typical morning dish, for example? My particular favourite breakfast was a sort of porridge made with coconut milk and bananas.

[Carol's pretty shaken from her most recent nightmare, but she's hiding it well enough. She defintely looks better than when Winry last talked to her (ie- not fighting a flu).]

Nightmares seem to be pretty common right now.

Yeah. I'm kind of wondering why it's not literally everyone, who's having them, but then again I'm glad that it's not everyone... I hope that made sense.
